Team Stockton And The New Group Banner.

Well, it finally happened. We had our first serious comp. For the most part it went off without a hitch. Starting up at about 7:30 AM the group had plenty of time to practice. The group is starting to look somewhat professional now. There were banners for manufacturers everywhere including a new one for Team WickedWays and the group banner which was flying from the drivers stand. If that weren’t enough there were banners flying for HPI Racing, Hot Bodies and Fast Track Hobbies. There were new types of drift cars running as well. Team Stockton and myself were running counter-steer cars and in fact DDJ took 2nd place with one. Of course Imperious Leader (JustSideways) took first. Being the good sport that he is he took the prizes that he won and gave them to the less fortunate drifters. As with all of the William Land Park meets that we have had previously there was great food all around. A big thank you to all of the ladies that provided and of course the guys who did as well. DDJ provided Sushi :). After everything was said and done the end result was as follows:

Big thanks go out to JustSideways as he took it apon himself to set up everything for this event. Also to RobsRacing for taking care of some of the technical aspects of the judging itself. We learned a great deal from this comp and hopefully we can run real comps (multiple teams/areas) next year.
